Gary Langford and Friends
Performance Horse and Production Sale
Saturday, October 27th, 2007 - 1:00 PM EST
Performance Preview - 11:00 AM
Greetings
and Welcome to Langford Performance Quarter Horses.
Gary has owned and ridden horses all his
life. Gary met JoAnn while working in Hollywood, Florida, they married and moved
to Flagler county. Flagler county is on the northeast coast of Florida, south of
Jacksonville 40 miles and north of Daytona Beach 10 miles.
In 1998 we began to purchase some seed stock with the intent of breeding good
minded, athletic horses, that are easy on the eyes and have a lot of cow. Our
brood mares are foundation bred and produced by many of the stallions listed in
the legends book published by the AQHA. Our initial stallion,
Cookes Boon,
was euthanized in July of 2006 following a leg injury. He was making quite a
name for himself and will be missed.
We now have two stallions to use,
Rio Starlight and
Guys French Jet.
Rio is the only Buckskin son of Grays Starlight, read about him in the stallion
section. Jet is a buckskin son of Frenchmans Guy. He is currently in
training for barrels, and seems to have a lot of talent and brains, read more
about him under stallions.
We had our first sale October 2006. Our average was $1,870.00. A yearling filly
by Boon sold for $4,000.00. His last crop will be born spring 2007. Jet's first
foals will arrive at the same time.
If you have any interest in our horses, please call. If in the area stop by,
NOTE CALL FIRST as you may not find us; too far back in the woods.
Earnestly:
