Dash
is a stand up, good looking horse with a lot of bone and
muscle. He has a good temperament and is easy to get a
long with. Dash is a big horse such that ropers would
like him, however based on pedigree; we will start him
on barrels.
His mare line is hard to beat. First dam, Evening
Traffic, has a si93 and has produced a colt that ran a
si84. Second dam, Bunny Eve, has produced runners with
speed indexes of 98,97,93,94,104,107. Third dam, Flit
Baby si88, also produced runners with speed indexes
greater than si90.
Evening Traffic’s sire Dash thru Traffic si95 won the
All American Futurity, has earnings of $1,045,943, and
has progeny earnings approaching $7,000,000.
His sire First Down Dash si105, a multiple world
champion racer, earning $857,256 with progeny earnings
approaching $62,000,000, has surpassed his sire, Dash
For Cash, to become the AQHA All-Time Leading Sire of
race money earners.
The sire to Dashing Guy, Frenchmans Guy, has been a top
barrel horse sire for several years, and was the 2006;
2005 #2 sire for the barrel horses’ category all ages
all divisions. Dash has a lot of potential both as an
athlete and a sire.
As with all horses, time will tell, but playing the odds
they are stacked in Dash’s favor.
